About the HSRC

The National Head Start Training and Technical Assistance Resource Center (HSRC) assists the Office of Head Start (OHS) by -

  • Supporting the development of national program priorities and the accomplishment of national program improvement initiatives.
  • Planning and coordinating activities that promote OHS priorities.
  • Promoting awareness and adoption of best practices.

Major activities of the HSRC include -

  • Facilitating communication within the Training and Technical Assistance (T/TA) and State Collaboration Networks through conferences, meetings, focus groups, and other forums.
  • Producing and publishing the Head Start Bulletin.
  • Developing informational materials that promote coordination, networking, and Office of Head Start priorities.
  • Supporting coordinated and comprehensive national responses to T/TA Network needs and opportunities.
