The Office of Head Start hosted the 37th National Migrant & Seasonal Head Start Conference, Promoting Comprehensive Wellbeing through Healthy Bodies and Growing Minds, held February 26—29, 2008, at the Renaissance Washington hotel in Washington, D.C.
The conference offered Migrant and Seasonal Head Start directors, staff, parents, Policy Council, and governing body members an opportunity to network with peers from around the country and exchange information and ideas. Conference plenary sessions and workshop presentations enabled participants to gain new knowledge and skills to support their efforts to provide quality Head Start services to Migrant and Seasonal Head Start children and families.
