Region IX CDI Follow-Up Activities

As a follow-up to the CDI, the Region XI American Indian/Alaska Native Disabilities Services Quality Improvement Center coordinated two follow-up Institutes.

"The Journey Continues"
April 6th - 9th
Nashville, TN

This Institute was offered to grantees in Region XI who had previously attended a CDI (either the original CDI or the first Region XI CDI). It offers "next steps" and additional information to assist grantees with implementing the "back home" plans they created during the original CDI. It takes a more "hands on" approach and allows grantees time to further develop and refine their original plans.

"The Road To Readiness"
April 15th - 18th
Seattle, Washington

This Institute was offered to those Region XI grantees who did not attend either the original CDI or the first Region XI CDI (Albuquerque, NM, January 14th - 17th). The agenda addresses the elements of the original CDI that are critical to Region XI grantees, including screening, assessment, curriculum planning, curriculum implementation, and cultural implications.
