Teach Our Children How To Succeed
Today many children are finding that they do not have the necessary skills to take care of themselves in the outside world. As the peer pressure builds, it is up to the parents to guide and direct their children in a way that will help them be successful in their educational years as well as in their adult life. Teach our children how to succeed in a loving, warm way that helps them to grasp the concept without the parent seeming to be strict or unbending.
As children are pressured by their peers to try new things such as drugs and alcohol, parents must be open and honest with their child about the dangers. Not only is it against the law for children to drink but it is also dangerous in so many ways. Many children are also being pressured to abuse drugs, whether prescription or illegal. As parents our job is to show the child the right way to resist the pressure and continue on their path to a successful life overall.
Teaching a child to be successful also involves being successful as a parent as well. A parent who is not involved in their child’s life will not be able to teach the ways for a child to succeed.
